A welcome addition to a popular entertainment district in Washington DC, 13 U is a nine-story brick and cast stone residential building highlighted by curved corners. The 129 one- and two-bedroom apartments feature walnut hardwood flooring, nine-foot-high ceilings, quartz counters with a waterfall side, and floating vanities with white quartz counters in the bathrooms. Amenities include a rooftop lounge with a fireplace, two rooftop terraces with grilling stations and an outdoor kitchen, a fitness studio with a personal trainer and charging stations for electric vehicles. Manganaro Construction used more than 1.3 million pounds of QUIKRETE^® Mason Mix Type S & N Mortar to lay 325,000 bricks. QUIKRETE^® Core-Fill Grout Coarse was used in the wall system.
